Mr Zidan obtained his Bachelor in Dentistry & Oral Surgery BDS Degree in 2003. He then worked for one year as general dental practitioner. In 2005, he spent several years at the Oral & Maxillofacial units in Libya.

Since 2011 he has trained and worked at Oral & Maxillofacial units across the UK including Wihpps Cross Hospital/Royal London Hospital, Queens Hospital Romford and Norfolk & Norwich NHS University Hospital.

He is now based at Colchester Hospital oral Surgery department. Here he has gained substantial experience in surgical dentistry.

In 2015 Mr Zidan completed his MSc Dental Implant & Oral Surgery Training at University of Warwick and he spent 2 years extra training between Wihpps Cross NHS University Hospital and Dental Implant Institute in Harley Street London.

For the past 15 years Mr Zidan has been working in Oral and Maxillofacial/Oral Surgery/Oral Medicine and Dental Implants.

Within this time, he has helped with the assessment, diagnosis and management for patients presenting with oral surgery/oral medicine which includes patients who are anxious and need the option to have IV sedation. He has also been providing implants, non-surgical facial aesthetics dermal fillers and Botox in this time.

This journey has led him to be invited to speak at prestigious international conferences and teaching courses and given him the opportunity to be a member of the British Association of Oral Surgery BAOS and a Committee Member at Association Dental Implant ADI in the UK. Mr Zidan routinely mentors other trainee dentists using the latest skills and techniques.

Mr Zidan has a continuing passion and commitment to his work, teaching and keeping up to date with the latest surgical innovations and research to ensure his patients are receiving the best possible care and his practice.

Mr Zidan is keen to share his knowledge and experience with his colleagues and lectures Nationally and Internationally. He takes great pride in his treatments towards every patient, considering all factors to provide the best bespoke dentistry.
